Isaiah Quittner, known as Fractal Boi, is a Burlington, Vermont-based artist working in acrylic and pen-and-ink. Rooted in the landscapes of his youth, Isaiah developed a strong connection to nature, using creativity as a way to process emotion and make sense of the world. His work is known for its intricate, time-intensive detail and surreal, fractal-inspired imagery that invites viewers into deep inner landscapes.

A passionate live painter, Isaiah has traveled up and down the East Coast, performing at countless festivals and concerts where real-time creation becomes a bridge between artist and audience. His immersive process fosters powerful, in-the-moment connections, turning each performance into a shared experience of presence and transformation.

Isaiah’s art has been showcased at PNLZ Gallery, featured in a solo exhibition at Flask Lounge in Portland, Maine, and displayed at the iconic Nectar’s in Burlington. Whether on stage or on canvas, his mission is to inspire self-reflection, spark imagination, and offer moments of connection and healing through the universal language of visual art.

Artist Statement

My art is a meditation on the intricate harmony woven into the fabric of existence. I hold a firm belief that the chaos we perceive is not disorder at all—but a perfect, organic unfolding. It’s a constant dance of unified polarities, intermingling and evolving in ways we may not yet fully comprehend. My role as an artist isn’t to impose form, but to highlight and honor the form that already exists—often just outside the limits of our habitual perception.

Using ballpoint pen and paint, I translate these subtle patterns into visual expressions—detailed, surreal, and fractal in nature. Each piece becomes a mirror for the collective unconscious, a glimpse into the formless archetypes and hidden geometries that shape our inner and outer worlds. I look toward the undefined, the liminal, where the beauty of nature and the psyche overlap.

Creation, for me, is a humble collaboration with the truest artist: nature itself. I don’t force visions into being—I listen, I witness, and I bring attention to what is already there. My mission is to remind others of the inherent beauty and order all around us, and to offer portals through which they can reconnect with that mystery.
